DRADJAD ADITOMO

Partner

Aditomo, or Tommy as he is known to just about everyone, has been in law practice for over 25 years, advising and representing domestic and foreign Clients. He began his career at PT Bank Lippo in 1990 –1992. In 1992 – 1996, he worked for PT Bank Bali. Assistant Vice President at Bank Universal (1996 – 2002). Together with Anto Ariyanto and Eko Peri Hantono, he established AAP Law Firm.

Tommy has substantial knowledge and experience in the banking and finance field, he assisted domestic and international banks, financing companies (among others Bank Danamon, Bank Niaga, Bank International Indonesia) and debtors, as well on merger and acquisition, debt restructuring, debt instruments, fraud, taxation and bankruptcy matters. He also involved in insurance litigation cases such as American Insurance Group, Asuransi Astra Buana, AIA Indonesia.

He was involved in re-capitalization of Indonesian banks under the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA) Program – BPPN. He has acted as an in-house lawyer for Bank Universal chaired Fraud Management, Security Safety Management, Investigation, Collection Settlement and Litigation matters related to the after-Auction period.

Tommy holds a Magister Hukum (Master of Laws) degree from the University of Indonesia (2002). His main areas of practice include banking & finance, corporate & commercial, capital market, merger & acquisition, insolvency & restructuring, taxation, international trade, civil & commercial litigation, dispute resolution, insurance, land & property, and labor & employment.

ANTO ARIYANTO

Partner

Anto Ariyanto has been in law practice for over 25 years with specialization in banking and finance i.e., corporate banking, syndication and special asset management, on-shore and off-shore project finance in connection with infrastructure, energy and natural resources sector and has significant experience in securities and debt instruments, such as Medium Term Notes, Commercial Papers, Bonds and Debentures under Fixed Income Department in Bank Niaga.

He began his career at Budi Muchyar Bani Masagoes Law Office (1989-1991), PT Jaya Obayashi (General Contractor) as Asset Manager (1991-1993), Bank PDFCI (1993-1996) as Legal Manager, Bank Niaga (1996-1997) as Legal Manager, Bank Universal (1997-2001) as Assistant Vice President of Legal Special Asset Management. In 2002, together with Dradjad Aditomo and Eko Peri Hantono, he established AAP Law Firm.

Anto has acted in numerous banking and finance transaction, financing facilities (including trade finance for Bank Danamon), restructuring (PT Polifin Canggih, PT Riau Andalan Kertas, PT Texmaco Perkasa Engineering) and settlement of non-performing loan (out of court settlement) with various business lines. He also involved in re-capitalization of Indonesian banks under the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA) Program – BPPN, and procurement committee for asset sales transaction under IBRA Program.

In the power sector, he has acted as legal counsel for PLN Tanjung Jati B Generation; PLN Batam project finance in connection with 2 x 55 MW Tanjung Kasam coal-fired power plant; PT Indonesia Power’s various financing involving millions of dollar transaction (including revolving underwriting facility, trade finance, project financing – syndicated loan); IDR 400 Billion financing of Pamaron Power Project in Bali with syndicated local banks; and USD 55 Million Stand By Letter of Credit (Financing) from local and international banks related to certain gas sales agreement with Santos.

In the capital market, he has acted in many capital market transactions such as Initial Public Offering (IPO), rights issue, merger & acquisition for various companies.

In real estate, he has represented PT DKU, a developer company, to deal with an international hotel chain (Aston) for the operation of an apartment complex. He has also acted as counsel to the construction and operation of Serpong Town Square.

Anto graduated from Faculty of Law, the University of Indonesia in 1990. His main areas of practice include banking & finance, general corporate & company law, capital market & securities, investment, merger & acquisition, infrastructure & project finance, restructuring & insolvency, international trade, and energy & natural resources.

EKO PERI HANTONO

Partner

Eko Peri Hartono has been in law practice for over 25 years, advising and representing domestic and foreign Clients. He began his career as an Associate at Taty Mulyati & Partner (1991 –1993), as Partner at Hartono Soerjopratiknyo & Partners (1993 – 1995), then during 1996-2002, he worked for PT Bank Niaga, as an Assistant Vice President for Legal Special Asset Management, Task Force, Corporate Legal Affairs at PT Bank Universal. In 2002, together with Drajad Aditomo and Anto Ariyanto, he established AAP Law Firm.

RIMBO BAWONO

Rimbo Bawono has been in law practice for over 25 years, advising and representing domestic and foreign Clients. He began his career at PT Bank Jaya International in 1990 –1992. Afterwards, he worked for PT Bank Dagang dan Industri (1992 – 1993); Head of Credit Administration at PT Bank Dagang dan Industri (1993 –1996); Head of Operational at PT Bank Dagang dan Industri (1996-1997). Head of Legal Department at PT Bank Dagang dan Industri (1997-1998); Assistant Vice President of Corporate Secretary at PT Bank Sahid Gajah Perkasa (1998-1999); Legal Manager of Legal Credit Business Department at PT Bank Universal (1999-2004).

Before his current involvement at AAP Law Firm as a Partner, he involved intensively in the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA) Program – BPPN. He involved in insurance litigation cases such as American Insurance Group, Asuransi Astra Buana, AIA Indonesia, and also involved in re-capitalization of Indonesian banks under the IBRA Program. He has acted as an in-house lawyer for PT Bank Sahid Gajah Perkasa, PT Bank Dagang dan Industri. He has also acted as a Corporate Secretary for Jakarta office of PT Bank Dagang dan Industri.

AMAL GHOFUR

Senior Associate

Amal Ghofur obtained his Sarjana Hukum (Bachelor of Laws) degree from the Islamic University of Indonesia – Yogyakarta in 2000. He has been in law practice for over 21 years, and began his career as an intern at Andi Rais & Associates Law Office – Yogyakarta (1997-1998); as a defender at LKBH UII – Yogyakarta (1998-2003), partner at MNA (Malik Nizar Amal) & Partners Law Firm – Surabaya (2003-2006); afterwards he joined AAP Law Firm in 2006. He is a licensed Advocate and a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) and Indonesian Bar Association (IKADIN).

Amal has acted for both Indonesian and foreign Clients in a variety of commercial disputes and criminal litigation. EKO KRISMANTO

Senior Associate

Eko Krismanto obtained his Sarjana Hukum (Bachelor of Laws) degree from the Diponegoro University – Semarang in 2006. He has been in law practice for over 12 years. Before joining AAP Law Firm in 2008, he joined another prominent Jakarta law firm. He is a licensed Advocate and a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI).

Eko has acted for Indonesian and foreign Clients in a variety of projects and commercial transactions in a wide range of business sectors. IQBAL RUKMANSYAH

Iqbal Rukmansyah obtained his Sarjana Hukum (Bachelor of Laws) degree from the Bandung Islamic University in 2010, majored in business law. He joined AAP Law Firm in the same year. He is a licensed Advocate and a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI).

IBRAHIM HUSSEIN SEMBIRING

Ibrahim Hussein Sembiring obtained his Sarjana Hukum (Bachelor of Laws) degree from the Islamic University of Indonesia – Yogyakarta in 2011. He joined AAP Law Firm in 2013. He is a licensed Advocate and a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI).

Baim has assisted in a variety of commercial disputes and criminal litigation. His main areas of practice include general corporate and company law, civil & criminal litigation, labor & employment, dispute resolution, and land & property.

WAHYU FAJAR UTAMA

Wahyu Fajar Utama obtained his Sarjana Hukum (Bachelor of Laws) degree from the Diponegoro University – Semarang in 2014, majored in criminal law. Shortly afterwards, he joined AAP Law Firm in the same year. He is a licensed Advocate and a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI).

SHEILA SHEIKTA ULLY NASUTION

Sheila Sheikta Ully Nasution obtained her Sarjana Hukum (Bachelor of Laws) degree in 2009 from the University of Indonesia – Depok. After having previously served as a junior associate in 2009, she returned to AAP Law Firm in early 2015.

Ully has assisted for Indonesian and foreign Clients in a variety of projects and commercial transactions. Her main areas of practice include general corporate & company law, investment, infrastructure & project finance, and merger & acquisition.

Ade Juliansyah obtained his Sarjana Hukum (Bachelor of Laws) degree from the Islamic University of Indonesia – Yogyakarta in 2015, majored in civil law. Before he joined AAP Law Firm in late 2017, he has served in other prominent Jakarta law firms. He is a licensed Advocate and a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI). Desty Riyantya obtained her Sarjana Ekonomi (Bachelor of Economics) degree from Trilogi University – Jakarta in 2013. Desty joined AAP Law Firm shortly afterwards in the same year and now holds the role of accounting & taxation officer.
